CIG

The CIG Inspection Scheme is a Multilateral Inspection Agreement, as laid out in document CIG MLA, approved in October 2020. The ETICS Member Bodies (i.e., Signatories) adhering to this Agreement are listed in document PD CIG 401 Annex 1.

The CIG system is the newest agreement proposing a common tool and methodology for a specific part of conformity assessment for the supervision of manufacturer locations producing type tested products in a serial production. It complies with harmonized European specifications.

Most importantly, the CIG Scheme has the benefit of a strong reputation, making it a virtual standard on the European market.

In addition, the CIG inspection processes are well-known, and the Factory Inspection Reports are used worldwide by several international organisations.
