About the CIG
The main goal of the CIG Inspection Scheme Agreement is to enable the ETICS’ Signatories to conduct inspection of manufacturer locations. The inspection procedures are based on international guidelines and are uniformly applied by all member signatories of the agreement.
The CIG Agreement fulfils the requirements of Accreditation Bodies, especially for subcontracting inspections of CIG Scheme Members by performing manufacturer surveillance for Type 5 certificates. Inspections are conducted in the utmost professional and competent manner through harmonized training and processes. The Inspection Reports are also treated and with the highest degree of confidentiality under the obligation of mandatory laws and/or accreditation regulations, as set forth in the terms and conditions of the CIG Agreement.
